What are the thoughts of making the transition to app? Or had it already been done?

It's not in the pipeline. The investment of time and money needed is not worth what users gain from it, compared to putting that into developing the existing site instead and keeping it mobile browser friendly :)

I can understand that. I think this is a great platform and it’s great to be apart of this. I do appreciate the on-going updates.

Yeah that should give you a pretty decent experience still on a mobile device. And from my perspective, free compared to spending a ton of money on app development :)
