Nooooooooooooo! Lol could never acquire a taste for that. I had an almond butter bagel, pistachios, apple and dates for dinner before going off to teach and train. I think I have a friggin hernia! getting it checked tomorrow
Shit, I am sorry to hear of the hernia.

Bring the nutter butter and dates basket, leave the hernia.

Lol....Dr says its just a strained groin.. Will take time to heal so I'll only do a few rounds when I train and see how it goes. Stretching and ice will hopefully give me some relief.

Glad to hear it is not a hernia.

I almost never strain my groin.

I have been married for 25 years,

so it's usually just my birthday and Christmas.

Having charcoal roasted chicken today with rice and veg for lunch. I will wash it all down with this lovely Pilsner.
Don't know if I want the chicken or the beer more. Lol

If you ever have a chance to visit the Czech Republic it’s worth it just for the ultra fresh Pilsner... Any old traditional working man’s pub with their specific etiquette, rude waiters, and just one type of beer on tap... that keg delivered from the brewery the very same day... my favorite beer anywhere in the world! A very different experience from the canned version (which is still decent.)

Made this earlier for another thread but I think it belongs here.
Reminds me of this homebrew me & a training buddy made for our coach as a Xmas present one year. :)

All right, you snobs.

If I go to Taco Bell,

And tell them to put double ground beef in a burrito shell,

and nothing else,

tell me why this is unhealthy.

Particularly if I get fiber in other ways.

But as a protein fix,

tell me, you woke snobs,

why the ground beef from Taco Bell is unhealthy.

I don't know but have at it. Freedom is a wonderful thing. People should eat and drink whatever they want. Life is too short to worry about it if they don't want to.

Anyone really into stouts ? This one is the best one I've had yet. I got to try it in a bar in Lund, Sweden. The brewery is in Norway tho. I envy you guys : (

Description: "Pastry stout brewed with cocoanibs, vanilla beans, dulche de leche, marshmallows and peanuts."

Very good for any occasion. This is Alcatra de Congro (conger eel).. My mother in law makes this for me on special occasions cause I'm like a crackhead with this stuff.
The meat is fluffy and light and very delicious. I love to have this with a Vinho Verde (Portuguese Green Wine), a full bodied Vinho Tinto, a cheap Vinho Cheiro from Terceira Azores or even a Super Bock beer. Damn I'm starving over here. Lol

When I lived in Spain I used to have this among other delicious treats every time I had a beer.
Of course un pincho de tortilla was also high on my list of things to have with a cold beer.

On another note.. I used to frequent this place when I lived in Spain alot.
They had amazing roasted chicken and cider. I can't tell you how many times I sat in this place filling my gullet without any remorse. Lol
Located in Madrid

There was never a shortage of delicious food and drink to be had in Spain. Of course for roasted suckling pig and lamb, Segovia was the place to be in my time there.
