I'm with Jorgen here.
I don't think/feel like this website should become a "documents and pictures seem legit" place. While entropy it's not avoidable, from my side I feel like if I don't verify only people I know personally or for whom I have very good reasons not to think otherwise (I know very well the coach/school they come from, we have a common friend of spoke to me about them, or they are people like, come on, Jason Scully), I'm not offering a good service to the community. It might slow down the process in certain areas where verified members are still few and sparces (I'm the only Italian atm for example) but while this will be fixed by time, turning what I understood being the original idea of beltchecker into a Instagram-ish "follow4follow" it's not something we should easily accept.

Also this might be my ctrlC+ctrlV answer to the ctrlC+ctrlV messages I receive :D

Daniël, you are a savage and I like everything about you on here. The only thing I add to your chart is if they need the points for black belt verification. If I don't know them and they get over the verification bar, I withdraw my vote as long as it won't take them below the 1000 point threshold. Of course I'll keep an eye out for them in the future if I roll with them and get to know them, then revote.

Yes, this is quite strange indeed I got invites from people to verify them even though I'm not even verified? And at the time when I got the invites I didn't even upload a single photo or anything so they were obviously just spamming everyone.
