Suggestion: tame your captcha a bit. I get asked every time I load the site despite cookies being enabled.
I know, it's so annoying that it's so aggressive; I'm on their customer support all the time. But I don't want to turn off the firewall either. Have an open ticket with them

You should create a shorter URL for profiles so if they want to display a URL link on whatever it is easier/more efficient.

Current link = https://www.beltchecker.c[...]hp?id=6260
New link should = https://www.beltchecker.com/6260

Just would make things easier if someone wants to create there own business card like thing to reduce the space required or allow people to create there own username like social media sites for a unique url.

For example if I wanted to create something really nerdy it looks out of place lol
I don't think it is the URL that's the problem here lol

If I click the 'remind to complete profile' button, does it send an email? Or just an onsite reminder?
I think an email would be a good idea as an onsite reminder doesn't work unless they log in

Add the possibility to reference something else than YouTube videos. I'm mainly thinking about Peertube. The name of the instance and the ID of the video.

I honestly had to look that up, as I wasn't familiar with PeerTube. Not a bad idea.

Question:
If you have an academy set up including the lessons schedule, can students register attendance for future lessons?

Eric added me to the "school of ninja's" for a while for translations and I think I saw you can select a future date and register attendence.

We opened up today and the lists are flooding in whatsapp :D

If this is possible it might a work aound to use to reserve spots in lessons.

well yes technically you can register attendance for any date right now, but I'm not sure it's very practical to that as a reservation system.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Yes, not perfect for sure.
But maybe a bit better than looooong Whatsapp messages we currently have and oversight gets difficult

Appears I just had my BJJ anniversary last week, yay!

Well I missed it but that could be a cool & simple to implement Notification feature: the system congratulating you for BJJ anniversaries (on the "started training" date) & anniversaries on current belt (on the promotion date... such a celebration being at the same rank for the Nth year I know...)

This must be how you know you have been training for a long time. Forgetting your anniversary.

re: attendance tracking
we don't always have the same coach taking classes
would there be a way to nominate the coach that is 'teaching' that class when we are doing attendance?

The coach is not registered for the logged attendance record. They can only be attached to a class in the schedule, so this doesn't directly have anything to do with attendance logging.

I can foresee all sorts of complications if we added coach to an attendance log record as well, so I'm staying off that for now :)

Would it be possible to add a "coaching" option to the training log? I believe coaching is a kind of training.
As always, thanks for this platform.

One thing that might help the "search" feature, is to find some way to make the "state" entry more uniform (not sure if I'm being clear on this)

For example, if I search for profiles from "North Carolina" in the state section, it gives me totally different people than when I search for "NC". I know, I know, it's our own stupid faults for putting random-ass stuff in there, and I don't know how easy it would be to have a drop-down menu to enter states (in the US... probably other countries have this issue as well) but I think that would help. It would help me at least :).

Just a suggestion!

This would be easy enough if the US was the only nation in the world with states :)

Is there an option to edit your comments when you reply to someone when they thank you for the vote? I screw it up all the time and have to delete it and do it all over again.

Yeah, so you select your country from a drop-down menu first, and then that automatically filters States/provinces/whatever. :)

Technically, everything is possible, but with our limited resources (=I'm the only one coding all of this frontend), it's always just a matter of how much work it would take to make compared to how much overall value it would have to the users.

There is not sorry, you'll have to delete and repost it for now :)
