Here you go. You probably overlooked the text in the confirmation box saying that the changes you made would require re-verification of your votes. You wouldn't be the first to do that :)

You changed the dates of your promotion(s) so that's why. There was even a pop up box warning you that the points would being reset and confirming if you were sure you wanted to do it.

I believe you only lose verification until your new profile picture is verified by the admins. You don't lose votes. It's to ensure you are putting a valid picture of yourself.

Not silly, makes complete sense. Otherwise you could verify a profile, then change the picture to make it look like it's someone else and then claim that profile is x belt verified. We need to make sure that it's still you on that picture. No votes need to be re-confirmed, it's only the picture that has to be checked.
