I liked it! Visually awesome and I loved the slow (by today's standards) pacing.
Agreed!

Not yet. I was wondering if it was worth watching. I have HBO Max but I haven’t had a chance to sit down and watch it. Hopefully this weekend.
You should! well worth it! I loved it!

The new movie was boring.
Seemed like they were just trying to set up a 2nd movie.
I am rather picky with Sci Fi movies. They either have to be hilariously bad like Battlefield Earth or Amazingly good. No middle ground. This new movie is the definition of the middle ground.

Can you give us an example of Amazingly good?

Let's just say a good movie is one that I remember well and want to watch more than once.
I just watched this movie 2 days ago and I don't remember anything about it.
Prometheus for example is a movie I liked that I just enjoyed the story and setting and had no idea that it was a prequel when I first watched it.
