Did you change your profile picture or anything about any of your verifications (such as date of promotion)? I think if you change any of those things, you lose your verifications, but a message goes out to everyone who verified you asking them to re-verify.

Nope. Didn’t change a thing. Haven’t been on here in ages. It told me I needed to verify the date of my black belt and purple belt... but I lost all votes for my verification and all the votes I verified for others...

Hmm: if you definitely didn't change anything, that's very odd. Might be worth posting something in the technical support forum, if you haven't already?

Sounds like this is likely related to the recently implemented requirement that all belts must have a Promoter named for them. Therefore all profiles that were verified with one of those fields empty, became unverified. (Earlier you could add belts without naming a promoter.)

The system probably asked you to fill in the missing details before accepting the Promotion history as complete again.

Worry not, you should get your verified status back again in a while, as people who have voted for you earlier have gotten a notification that they need to re-verify their votes. :)

adding a stripe won't trigger reverification. But if you changed the date, or promoted by that will need a reverification

Hmm... I should screenshot all my nice verifications and comments. Would be a shame if I lost them due to some change...

It does in fact make a lot of sense :) You changed the field with who promoted you to purple belt (it was empty before). So of course this needs to be verified by the community, otherwise you could just theoretically just be verified with that field empty and then afterwards add the name of someone who didn't actually promote you.
