During the pandemic I've seen quite a few ppl switch away from BJJ. Bouldering/climbing seems to attract BJJ ppl.

Firearms was my main side hobby but it is getting so darn expensive.
I also polish boots and shoes for my side hobby and find it very relaxing.
Wish I had learned to be a cobbler.

I've bartered my way to weekly private lessons in tennis and I must admit I absolutely love it. Challenging, technical and a SOLID workout. Good sense of body mechanics from Jiu Jitsu has helped a lot and I feel like I am doing huuuge improvements every practice. Usually, if I improve 0,5% in Jiu Jitsu I am extremely happy but here I feel like I'm jumping 10-20% every time.
Now the knees just have to survive it...

I trust that 20+ years of Jiu Jitsu has strengthened the ligaments in my elbows. Just like it has strengthened my knees..... right..... hmm.

Be careful Christian. Last time I played tennis (5 years ago?) I enjoyed the hell out of it, played 2 days straight for 2 hours and ended up nursing an inflamed elbow for 3 months after.
These days I've really enjoyed playing table tennis in the office :)

Totally feel you on that, i was just tossing a Frisbee around today and felt like a hot knife was going straight down my knee, very awesome that you're doing something as active as tennis even with the bad knees!
