I convinced my friend and training partner Michael Hawkins to join belt checker as well as helped him to get his pictures and smoothcomp profile linked so please have a look at his profile and vote if you think it's up to scratch.

Our instructor Nick Brooks passed away in December and is hugely missed in the UK BJJ community, he built an incredible team and an affiliation that stretches across Europe as well as his jiu jitsu he was great at bringing people together and was a caring individual on and off the mats.
(this is the reason we're both listed as each others student and coaches)
