I've held off from asking for votes because I felt like I'd be asking for rank. I realized I have earned this rank through my 10+years of training. I began my training with Van Berrios at AKF Martial Arts in Burleson, TX. He brought in a black belt instructor Terrell Williams a few years ago who awarded me a blue belt. I am unsure of his lineage.

Recently, our new professor, Rashad Salahuddin has awarded me the rank of Purple Belt. Rashad trains as a black belt under Lionel Marra at Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu. Six Blades is a member of IBJJF and is headed by Xande Ribeiro.

In addition to being a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu, I also hold a 1st Dan rank in Judo which I also achieved at AKF Martial Arts. I have not at do not compete as I am mainly interested in these as an art and not a sport or competition.

I'd like to be verified here so I may bring others from our school into this site. I like the idea of a centralized verification system. Thank you for reading my request.
