Yeah, any modification to your promotion history removes your verification status, but it should alert everyone who originally voted for you to resubmit. Hopefully they are active enough to see the alert.

This shouldn't be a thing. You should not lose verification simply for updating a picture. I feel this is a flaw with the site that should be addressed. If people have already verified you, I struggle to see the reasoning behind nullifying their votes.

I do. It's not about your regular picture gallery but ONLY the picture that is connected to the specific promotion. Otherwise it would be too easy for someone to enter a fake picture (e.g. certificate) for a belt promo and then remove it or replace it with just them standing in front of a wall alone with a belt.

Are you including an image? Try without :)

It is not a thing. Updating photos on promotion history does not trigger re-verification. It's only if you change who promoted you or when you were promoted. So in this case I am sure he also changed something else :)
