It is little bit misleading that competition matches are sum together in all and not divided by belt level. For me it shows as purple belt 26 matches, but I have only 1 match as purple other matches have been in blue and white. So I think it would good idea to add the belt information to competition details or parse the information from division information.

I don’t think it matters really... more relevant is which division you enter, not your own belt at the time. How about submission wrestling tournaments which don’t separate the belts, such as ADCC or NAGA?

Those who are interested about your match stats (let’s be realistic: you yourself and maybe 2 of your gym buddies or opponents) can look at the list and see the details if they desire. :)

Yeah it would be a real mess to try and split those up when there are so many types of divisions for belts, experience level etc. in the different competitions

Finland used to be top ranking on the Global stats' "Percentage of completed profiles that are verified, by country" but now it has fallen off the list for some reason..?

However if I search for Country: Finland and tick Completed profiles only, it looks like 100% of those are verified atm.

Same with Estonia & Israel, 100% verified rate on completed profiles, and not on the list. So something funky might be going on with the algorithms there. Or perhaps you don't wanna acknowledge countries who are doing as good as us... :D

I was a little confused about this bug for a minute, but then I remembered that I had disabled any listings with 100% verification at the beginning of the site, because people would write weird stuff as their country and once they were verified that "country" would be at top of the list right away :D

I changed it to minimum 5 profiles required to be on the list

Pretty sure I'm on the 'Most viewed profiles' list because I visit my own profile so often. Can also be my looks.
Most definitely the looks! (No homo.) And stats don't lie. =D

Personally I hate stats and I'm bad with numbers. But some of these are fun. Where are the stats on how much time Graugart spends fiddling with stats?

So.

We have "Verified users" currently closing in to 7000.
We have "98% of completed profiles are verified" so that means completed profiles in the same ballpark.

Yet the front page boasts "Active users" over 18k.

Are there really 11k people who are actively using the site who haven't completed their profile and aren't verified?

What's the math here? What are the characteristics of an "active user"?

Looks like the front page's "Total active users" is the same number as "Total registered users" on the Stats page. Activity of some of which is definitely questionable.

Active users = Activated profiles. Could probably have worded that differently.

Age to injury stats would be nice :)
Cross referencing body part and year to date (from start date) for each injury...

I wonder about the long term efficacy of the stats here. Say someone signs up, but quits BJJ at blue belt and just ghosts the site, would this not skew the stats towards people staying at Blue Belt for longer and longer times?

It would - I suppose length of time at each belt could only be counted in the stats once someone has been promoted to the next belt.

I think this IS the way it's done :) Otherwise the numbers would be dynamically changing every day.

Yeah, they go chronologically and you can specify everything in the DIVISION. Lot of people add matches which do not fall under belt but other divisions.
