Why have I lost all my votes whilst tidying up my profile. For example correcting spellcheck errors.
Frustrating to say the least.

Yes matey,
I corrected the spelling of my coach and it wiped out all my votes.

The system can’t tell if it’s a spelling error you’re correcting. If you change the content of a text field, then you changed the field. I get it’s frustrating but there’s even a warning popup explaining this, that you pressed confirm on :)

Don’t worry, everyone who voted for you will be notified with a request to reconfirm.

Lol, I’m just an OG trying to get my head around it all.
Love the beltchecker platform, I just need to learn more and get use to it.
This is definitely the way forward for all practitioners and schools.

Hi again Christian,
Just a quick question in relation to this topic. Is there anyway that a person can update their Description box on their profile without resetting all of their votes.
I see on lots of peoples profiles where they have written a little Bio/story of themselves to support their profile/belts/awards which I think is great as it gives a bit of insight to that individuals journey and helps better understand the persons profile.
I tried to do mine however realised it would reset my votes again hahaha.
Surely this Description box shouldn't impact a reset.
Thanks
Marc

Updating your description doesn’t do anything. it’s only if you change your promotion history. See the FAQ for more details: https://www.beltchecker.c[...]?p=profile

I did try this but it warned me about losing my votes.? Didn’t want to do it again. Lol
You should read that warning text a bit closer, then :)

I’ll try again later Christian, that wasn’t the warning I had. It definitely said my votes would be reset.
I was careful this time lol.

I’m very sure that’s exactly the warning box; it’s the only one that exist in the system :)
