A friend was the number one or two guy in the country at his weight for several years in the early 90's. He came back for the 2000 Olympic trials and teched in the first round. Time is a bitch for everyone and worse than that for wrestlers

He didn’t make weight in 2012. I guess he knew he couldn’t make it today. He’s in Vegas so I’m curious as to how close he got, but I guess we’ll never know.

Hr posted that he got within 15lbs but body was adversely reacting. Med team told him to give it up. Bummer but tough to cut like that at 51
