I wish they still sold them. One of the professors at my gym has one and it's AWESOME! Coolest Gi I've ever seen!
They go on sale during the USA camps. I have a total of 3 now. The very original one, the V2, and what I call the V3 because it's the exact same as the V2 on paper, but fits a lot better due to manufacturing inconsistencies.

Scramble's Athlite is starting to feel very nice and snug. Got it for xmas and I've worn it like 5 times. Build quality seems very good, as can be expected from Scramble.

BJJ Globetrotters Denim V3 is my favorite ;)
I've never seen a denim gi before...that sounds incredible.

I was bummed to hear that Padilla and Sons went out of business. They used to have affordable, simple, well-made gis with high quality fabric and stitching. Their gold weave was super soft and comfortable but also durable. Fortunately my gis are still in good shape, but I'm hoping to find a good replacement before they wear out.
Yeah, Padilla & Sons were solid. I ended up selling the ones I had years ago, kinda wish I'd kept them now (given Padilla are no longer around).
