Hey all,
New to the site, looking for verification votes.

I started BJJ in 2013 as a more practical feeling alternative to the hyper-militant krav maga classes I had been taking. I lived and trained in Connecticut at the time and was awarded my blue belt from Joe Carta.

In 2015 I moved to Binghamton, NY and started training at Broome County Martial Arts under Tamdan McRory (Team Balance affiliation). Trained there and was awarded my purple belt in December of 2018. In late 2019 I moved to Fishkill, NY and took a (too long) hiatus from training due to the pandemic and other life bullshit.

I just started back to training as of November this year so my purple belt journey has been a long one but I'm back in the game and falling in love with jiu jitsu again. For now, I'm leaving my lineage at my old school because that is where I got my purple and my first stripe awarded. Currently training at Evolution Grappling Academy in Beacon, NY under Mike Palladino (who does not appear to be on here).
