Hi everyone,
Finally got a chance to create a Beltchecker and just happened to receive my brown belt about 6 weeks ago.
I know a fair number of y'all from BJJ Globetrotters but in the interests of not harassing you all individually at the next camp, I'd like to ask here for your vote. If we've rolled and you don't think that I suck at BJJ, I would greatly appreciate your endorsement =)
PS: I have a video of the promotion ceremony but it does not show up when I try to post it. Do videos *Have* to be on YouTube to work, or am I just doing something wrong (this is the most likely outcome)

What's the lineage of John Cabay and do you have a link you could send (social media, youtube etc) from his own BB promotion? The academy homepage didn't give any clue, as far as I could see.
Video from the promotion is excellent evidence! You can just add the youtube link in the free text field under the belt.

@Johan Nyh I just filled in the lineage--had to find out who Gustavo Dantas got his belt from in order to finish it.
So the video is not on YT and I have literally never posted something on there so I have no idea how that all works. It's on my Instagram page (in the post showing the brown belt), so it does exist in the world, but I try to keep an upper limit for how far I go into social media for sanity's sake =)
As far as Coach Cabay's belt ceremony...I wouldn't know where to look for that, but there is one of his 2nd Degree from Paul Nava on his Instagram page:
Hope this helps.

And the video of me that I mentioned:
