YES! you are correct sir.
You know, my 2 year old has had it too good for two long. I think its about time she got her own place to live. I'm gonna make her room my new office.
(Actually she can stay. But my 15 yr old, that's another story altogether lol)

Love my slayer and iron maiden gi! Those are essential!! Let’s be real by purple we all begin to have a Gi addiction 😂
the Maiden gi, is there artwork on back ala Slayer gi, or just the couple little touches inside and embroidered? I looked on ebay and they don't show anything on back...

Artwork on the back and inside. It’s not as badass as the slayer gi but still badass for maiden fans

Thanks for the appreciation! All three designs were created by me, so I'm quite proud of them. One of the designs features a quote from the Bible and is part of the "Warrior Series." The lion represents the Lion of Juda, hence the name "Juda Series." The third design is our "Standard" Gi, which comes without a liner, showcasing the raw elegance of the Gi along with my company name and logos.

To add, a portion of every purchase is donated to veteran and first responder non-profit groups. The main aim is to provide good, durable gear while giving back to the community. I'm thrilled to partner with SOF Missions (SOFmissions.org), who will be the first recipients of our donations.

During my short bjj journey I have tried three different brands and models but none of them makes me happy. What brand and model do you use? I ran into an add for a Gi made of hemp. Has anyone tried hemp Gi? Pros and cons!? Cheers! Richard
I'm using Progress Gi:s right now and they fit my body type good and feels nice to roll in, I use the featherlight and the mk6 450 gsm gi. Tatami GIs are also good but the pants are a bit short for my body when the jacket fits right sady (I'm a A1L in jacket and A2L in pants on tatami). I have during my years rolling also used Atama, Scramble and some custom club Gi:s but the Progress ones are the best fit and feel for me right now, many at my dojo also use Hyperfly Gi:s and are happy with them. The Swedish shop and Brand Rebelz also have their own brand that many people i roll with are very happy with. Good luck on your journey to find the perfect gi for you

I wonder how many orders a link and image here will generate for peel gi. https://www.peelgi.com/shop
I have a Peel Gi from before they changed their name to Be Like Water and then back to Peel Gi, and I just bought one of their belts, sitting on my shelf waiting for that next promotion (which I'm not in any hurry for, I just like the look of the belt and wanted to have it for when the time comes.

I think a good Gi vendor should offer the costumer the opportunity to order different sizes of jacket and pants, For me it's always hard to find a good fit on both, I'm 178 cm long but with long legs for my size in most Gi:s i have a A1L or A2 size jacket and a A2L size pants. I would love not to have to order 2 Gi:s to get one Gi that fits me perfectly. Have you guys found any vendor that offers that opportunity in Europe?

My company is preparing to do just this. You will be able to buy Gi top or pants individually. I have seen some larger companies offering this already. For us we will just be doing it in the US in the near future. I am sure google will be your friend finding these companies as I did not book mark them when I saw it!

Out of the more "designer" brands, I like a lot of the simpler designs by Ctrl (and their A2 is a good fit for me) but importing to EU costs too much so mostly get them when I'm visiting the US. They have some cool color combos that are just loud enough (I'm wearing a burgundy Ctrl in my profile pic).

However, the higher end Brazilian-made classics such as the Atama Mundial and the Koral MKM simply carry certain air of credibility, are constructed well, and are proven to last a decade.

I had an older model of Kingz Balistico which was superb for me in fit, lightness and durability (lasted a few years of weekly use despite the light fabric) but like always, the company makes a new iteration and completely fucks up the fit for me. :D

I’ve owned gis from many different manufacturers, but fitwise my favourites would probably be kingz comp or tatami estilo…. As long as they’re bot too tight or too baggy I usually find most gis okay at worst…. The one thing I tend to stay away from are the superlights, too much stretch and to little resiliance….

My holy gi hierarchy thus far is as follows: HCK double weave, any Koral I've tried, Fuji (specifically the all around gi), and my latest entry into the top tier list is the Isami Tora (could only get it in single weave, would love a double when they're in stock). They slightly edge out the Datsusara combat gi and the Flow hemp gi. Although if i were to make an underrated gi list the Flow Kimonos hemp gi would be at the top followed by the Fuji all-around.
