I find that eminently not a bother, and I enjoy the good company regardless if none of us have "rank", or never did, or never would.
After all what is rank?
Just social affirmation or recognition.
And we would be very poor self-defense trainers, if we produced athletes that craved social affirmation or recognition, or could be distracted by same, to their detriment or disadvantage.
