I hope to not forget my university students that had troubles due to the COVID19 period, because they had family members die, or they had financial difficulties, or they had real trouble adjusting to online classes, etc.

I hope to not forget all the children who missed out of a large part of their school year.

I hope to not forget all the businesses that had to close, and especially the ones that will not re-open, because they became bankrupt.

I hope to not forget all the people that became unemployed, and lost their savings.

I hope to not forget all the people that died from this virus.

I hope to not forget all the people who committed suicide because of the mental strains of the virus and the lock down.

I hope to not forget the people who lost loved ones to the virus or suicide.

I hope to not forget the people who survived the virus but now have scarred lungs, or that had a stroke from it, or some serious issue.

I hope to not to forget all the people who died or suffered because they either could not get into a hospital or were afraid to get medical assistance because of the virus.

I will not forget the helpers, the people who brought supplies, or other relief, or even just tried to lift the spirits of their neighbors during this difficult time.

I will not forget how neighbors in quarantine played their guitars, and sang to their neighbors, from across the street to show solidarity.

I will not forget that when we as a species stand together, we can accomplish almost anything, whether it is surviving a disease, producing food, or building great works of incredible art and engineering.

Sadly, I cannot forget that we are often our own worst enemy, and like a snake that eats its own tail, that we remain the most likely cause of our own destruction.

But at the bottom of all this, after all these things that we are not likely to forget have flown from the box of Pandora with all of their sad truths, there remains Hope, as the last to emerge.

Thank you for the reminder about Hope.

I always liked that story because at the end of the day, even when everything seems done for, we always still have hope and faith.

Just caught up with everything in this post (been working/doing reno on our home/planning our wedding for the third time due to COVID), and i always miss the fun stuff.

The best point about that latest faker was, that really nobody reacted in any way at all.😂
I am sure that we all noticed that he changed his claim from 10th to 4th degree and back incl. the suddenly addition of a judo rank. He was online at beltchecker for long periods.
The best strategy against trolling is to ignore completely but it was a challenge not to post some jokes at the pinboard of this GM.
We should praise our disciplined behaviour and professionality at this point!!!🫡

Well, the identity wasn't confirmed so I think already there, nobody takes the profile seriously. No option to vote for a profile with unverified name and photo.
