I feel grateful to have been part of this story and continue to be a part of the next chapter. Please take 13 mins of the day and watch what an important roll Jiu Jitsu can play in someones life!

Great job! Respect Brendan👍🏼!
Jiu Jitsu definitely can help with mental health issues like ptsd / stress disorders!
But first thing is you have to be honest to yourself that there is a problem and then get professional help.
Jiu Jitsu can be one part of it that will help you dealing with it!
When I watched the clip, I totally understood and felt what Damon went through…
I suffered from stress disorder too, but from serving in a law enforcement environment on the front line for more than two decades…(not from military where I served only 4 years ).
Keep up the great work 👍🏼! Awesome job!
Best regards,
Mirco

Thank you so much, Mirco—your words mean a lot.
SOF Missions, the organization Damon founded, originally focused on supporting the military community. It’s a blessing that they’ve since expanded to include law enforcement and first responders, recognizing the shared burdens and sacrifices across these roles.
And please, never downplay your service. Four years in the military is honorable, and your decades on the front lines as LEO speak volumes about your continued commitment. I also served four years and had hoped to do more, but life had other plans. Like you, I found purpose in serving my community afterward.
Your story resonates deeply, and I’m grateful you connected with Damon’s journey. Jiu Jitsu has been a powerful tool for both of us, not a cure-all, but a meaningful part of the healing process.
Thank you for your service and for sharing your experience. Much respect.
