What changes to my profile will make me lose my verification?
Action Effect on your profile
Adding or removing a belt from promotion history Any existing votes you have received will be put up for re-verification. Anyone who have voted for you will receive a notification asking them to reconfirm their vote based on your new promotion history.
Changing the date of a promotion Any existing votes you have received will be put up for re-verification. Anyone who have voted for you will receive a notification asking them to reconfirm their vote based on your new promotion history.
Changing the name of who promoted one of your belts Any existing votes you have received will be put up for re-verification. Anyone who have voted for you will receive a notification asking them to reconfirm their vote based on your new promotion history.
Change of profile picture Any existing ID verification will be cancelled and your new photo must be re-verified by the moderators. This is an automatic process and should take less than a few hours (depending on work load)
Change of legal name Any existing name verification will be cancelled and your new name must be re-verified by the moderators. This is an automatic process and should take less than a few hours (depending on work load)

Thanks I read that, but I didn't didn't change my rank, it automatically did based on my time as a BB and then makes me verify again?

It should not have changed your rank automatically.

Maybe a glitch Christian needs to take a look at.

It might have told you that you qualified for automatic promotion based on time served, but that's not what you selected for your promotion record. You have chosen that you were promoted by someone and tagged the instructor, which requires reverification.

Ya I tried to fix it at one point. I did get an email when it all happened about something that you guys were updating.

Oh well, I'll just ask the team to vote me.

Now you removed the promoting instructor tag even though he's on the picture for the promotion?

Well it makes pretty good sense to have a correct promotion history and have it verified by the community. Rather than having an incorrect history and wait a few days for verification. You risk people downvoting your profile if you are promoted by someone but didn't tag them (as you have now).
