Why is it that when I changed my photo my black belt is now unverified? When it was already verified previously? That does not make sense. Please, can someone help me with this?

Because your new photo needs to be verified to ensure it's actually of you.
1) Your profile picture is black, you should try to upload it again
2) The forum is not where you upload the selfie with the handwritten note, please do this in the verify section

That is just for instant name verification. It's still free to do it via document upload, but takes a little bit longer (usually done within a day). Just follow the instructions on the verification page.
