It won’t let me post pictures to the verification portal anymore.

I didn’t have any issues when I promoted to blue belt. But no matter what I do, I can’t get my purple belt stuff to show up.

When you say "it won't let you", can you please describe in a bit more detail what is happening? What exactly is it that doesn't work, do you get an error, or what happens?

I had a similar issue a couple of weeks ago.
I realized the limit is 3 pictures per belt but there were 4 slots visible to upload. I was using the bottom one and when I clicked for upload the page reloaded but nothing was there. I then used the first and it worked.
I am using an iPhone 16 max pro, iOS 26.0.1., safari.

And while I got Christian’s attention, I’m the app ( downloaded via bookmark ) clicking on people’s profile half of the time does nothing. If I immediately go to safari and click it works flawlessly

Same. I got promoted to 1st degree black belt this week and tried to upload a photo but it says 'error occurred'.

one of our student was promoted this week-end and when he updated his profile, all his history disapeared and now he is a white belt https://www.beltchecker.c[...]hp?id=1969 my notifications history show that he actually upgraded to black belt fist he say to me having wrote to the webmaster
His promotion records are still in the database so they're just not being displayed correctly for some reason. Did some updates to the code the other day which might have affected it. I'll look into those things as soon as possible!

Looks like he had maybe accidentally put his black belt information in under the white belt record. This triggered his profile to be marked as white belt and all higher belt records to be disabled. I have manually fixed his records in the database and I am pretty sure it should all be correct now :)

I have this same issue.

When I try to save my black belt, I only get a red pop up saying "an error occured".
Also, a blue line with the letter "i" also appears under the save button.
There doesn't seem to be any info about what the error is.

What format is the image file? Can you try to email it to me on [email protected] ? 🙂

Alternatively try to take a screenshot of it and upload the screenshot instead. Some phones tend to upload difficult format sometimes

The system is not supposed to accept PNG files but some browsers seem to override this and allow you to upload them anyway, which will create an error.

Having the same issue when trying to add my promotion to purple belt with two JPG files. I got the "Error occurred" message. I'm a developer (not for BeltChecker), so I opened the console to look for logs and this attached image shows more details.

UPDATE:
I was able to add my promotion to purple belt but without pics. After that was successful, I was able to add one of the JPG files, the other I think may be too large (5.5 MB), but that was not the error I saw in the console. Could be a different issue, or a bug due to the image size. Best of luck!
