Im Marcelo Cavalcante, Brazilian
I started Jiu Jitsu at Bonsai Jiu Jitsu academy, when I was 12 (1996), my others 2 Brothers was already having Jiu Jitsu class. After the first UFC, it was a fever in Brazil.
In 99 until 2001 I start to train more often and take it more seriously .
Then when I was about to get my Blue Belt (What was really hard during that time) I went to college and I had a big Brake.
In 2016 I came back at Kioto São Paulo. In 2021 I moved to US, training in garages, and going to some open Mats mostly at Elementum Jiu Jitsu, until Rolles Gracie opened one academy at my City ( Lake Mary) where I am currently.
I help him as instrutor and some coaching, mostly at Jiu Jitsu Wrold League.
It is nice be part of a portal where we can share ideas about this wonderful art.
So In Brazil I still member of Kioto Team and here I’m Rolles Gracie
