I’m currently having an issue where I was verified yesterday, I did not receive any negative votes ever but today I woke up no longer verified and have less than 1000 points. Could it be that somebody that voted for me deleted their account or became unverified?

Yes. Often that they got promoted and need more votes to become verified after adding tye new degree.
