Anyone here have a monetized YouTube account and are willing to share some tips, tricks, and maybe your timeline to monetization?

Hi there, I have a youtube channel and it's monetized.
my channel : Rudy Surjadjaja BJJ
you need yo continue posting video, share it and keep on going until you have 1000 subs and 4000 hours of watch time.
Make sure you create video continously, dont have to be crazy like a full time youtuber, but make sure its on schedule, let say once a week or twice a week.
Just keep on create and share it.

The first few months I did nothing but shorts until I found out those don’t count towards watch hours. I have been putting out long form videos regularly now and I think they account for around 100 of my 400+ videos. I still tend to just average 100 views per video so getting enough watch hours will be tough.

Can you link to your channel? I have quite a few subs but its hard to get the required watch hours without heavily viewed long form videos.

Hopefully that works. I just hit 700 subs but only have around 450 watch hours.

Do these type of videos have a big audience? I would be surprised if people spend alot of time watching someone ride a motorcycle. You may just be in the wrong niche. Also, even though the overall theme of your videos is first person riding - some videos have voice over, some videos have music, and some have camera audio. I think these type of variations will somewhat fracture an audience. If I were you I would pivot and do some kind of motorcycle product reviews as well. Check out this channel for inspiration, he's a blue belt I met in China. https://www.youtube.com/@KujiRolls

They do actually. I know several that have 75,000 and up subscribers.
