Nope..not even a notification. I just messaged the webmaster. No big deal. I probably did not vote for them fast enough or made a comment in the forum that got them upset. I really don't know.
I looked at you profile and didn't see a dispute listed on your votes. Maybe a black belt withdrew their vote.

Yeah thats what I'm thinking. more likely because I have "too many" points in their opinion or being the optimist hit it by mistake. Will never know.

Maybe one of Pedro Duarte's black belts withdrew their vote to help him hit that 10,000 points before you. Lol.

Just kidding of course.

Begging was perhaps also the wrong word to use for this topic; should’ve been “asked”. I blame it on English not being my first language :D
Begging, beseeching, imploring ... they are all OK in my book. I had no problem with putting myself out there for verification. I actually used the word "grovel" in the private messages I sent to the few folk who are fellow de Been affiliates. Note: I confined my groveling to the sanctified members who would most likely (1) know me, (2) know of me, or (3) know somebody who does know me. That's fair game ... Yes? I doubt that I would have the cajones to put up a general post asking for votes though.

Maybe someone deactivated their profile and it deletes their votes. Sounds plausible.

Or somebody updated their promotion history or uploaded a new profile pic, which also temporarily de-verifies the profile until it's approved. (So the votes they've given will be in limbo for the time being.)

Probably that, if you just noticed you lost 100 instead of getting a notification about a -100 dispute vote. I find it very unlikely that a black belt (100p) who has gotten verified would purposely downvote your profile...

Yes I doubt it as well. I'm pretty optimistic about it.
Either way it makes no difference. We should max out at our required points imho. The rest is unnecessary.

What Tatu said. If someone updates their promotion history or profile picture, their vote for you is temporarily disabled until they’re reverified.

C'mon, Dave is sooo close to hit 10k points... :D

(I pretend that I don't care for extra points either, but now that I've gotten some, I kinda enjoy having them. Troubling! :D)
