I run more gi classes than no gi but if I am going to be honest I enjoy no gi more. Less finger problems

damn I still have to tape my fingers up even for no gi.. they are too far gone at this point

I have preferred the gi more and more as I get older (age 50 now), but my game is originally more no-gi based as I first learned submission grappling outside of BJJ.
To this day I play "no-gi grips/hooks" over most of the gi grips, even when in the gi. I feel I am still overall a little more effective in no-gi, despite not keeping up (yet) with all of the leglock game innovations. Still, I find the gi game friendlier to my age as it's easier to slow those young studs down with friction and extra grips when I need to...
