Unlike many, I don't have a lifelong love of martial arts. I went to one karate class as a teenager and thought there were too many push ups and never went back! As an adult I tried my hand at a range of sports and found that I liked to move like I did as a kid in gymnastics class. When I came across Jiu-jitsu it seemed like a logical fit. I have had the privilege of training while travelling overseas, and have met a number of people at seminars and camps. Consequently, I only accept friend requests from people I have met in person.
