Lifelong (traditional) Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. I'm the type of person who wants to know and understand as much as possible about all positions, styles, and techniques. I DO NOT believe that there's only one way to perform Jiu-Jitsu (techniques); I believe you must learn the basic principles and apply them to your own style, body, conditioning, etc., the "overly" aggressive (hyper) practitioner is over compensating for skill and knowledge, relying purely on size, speed, and strength.
