"I've known Michael for over 10 years. Runs a school, great teacher and a good friend. "
"Verified, legit third degree Black belt, promotion picture, i meet you at fight lab in 2015 or something like this, i was bringing there by my friend Jeff Jimmo, nice to see you there "
"Solid photo evidence "
"Known Mr. Allen for many years who is an upstanding individual, instructor, and BJJ practitioner. "
"Verified"
"Well documented "
"Michael’s progression aligns with time-in-belt norms, spanning about 13 years from white to black belt with varying training intensity. Checkmat Charlotte’s website confirms his 2014 black belt promotion by Joe Hurst (established black belt instructor of sufficient grade to promote black belts at the time) and affiliation switch under Leonardo Vieira. IBJJF results verify 2022 DC Open gold in Master 4 black belt open class under Checkmat, matching claimed medals. Social media affirms his current 3rd-degree rank. He's also on the list ~ https://ibjjf.com/certified-black-belts Legit!"
"Thank you supporting me! I really appreciate you and my Checkmat Family."
"Solid fella. Been to many seminars with Michael and my wife has trained at his school. Great dude, great black belt! "
"Respected practitioner in my state."
