Practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since my graduation from the Police Academy in 2007. I started with mainly nogi/MMA until around 2010, when I put my first gi on. Since then, I have trained in both sport jiu jitsu and a combatives based police jiu jitsu program focused on individual and team control and arrest concepts for law enforcement. In 2017, I started a class dedicated to training LEOs and in 2022, I helped start a police jiu jitsu program for my agency. In June 2023, I was promoted to black belt. I assist with teaching adult gi and nogi classes, as well as youth classes, at my academy in NJ.
