I’m Nick Lee, a black belt and the owner and head coach of Aura Jiu Jitsu in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. I’ve competed in nearly 200 matches, so I’ve spent a lot of time getting smashed, learning, and coming back better. That’s exactly how I teach. Simple, effective Jiu Jitsu that actually works when things get messy. I’m part of the Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association, and I believe in keeping things technical, efficient, and built for the long run… but also fun. Because if you’re not enjoying it, you’re not sticking with it. I’m also a proud connoisseur of the legendary Donkey Guard 🫏. Ask me about it at your own risk. Some people laugh… until it works. At Aura, I focus on building a strong, positive culture where people can grow, challenge themselves, and have a good time doing it. Show up, train hard, stay consistent, and don’t take yourself too seriously.
