"Wayne’s progression aligns with time-in-belt norms, reaching black belt after about 8 years of training. Instagram bio and podcasts confirm his black belt status as co-owner/coach at Loyalty Jiu Jitsu Academy (Rilion Gracie affiliate), formerly Gracie Elite Australia. Jhunior Guarnido, his promoter across belts, appears to have been at least a 2nd-degree black belt in October 2022, having competed as black since at least 2017 per IBJJF results. re-upped for 1st degree as of June-2026 review"
