"Legit profile congrats on the brown"
"Sonoran is a legitimate Marcelo Garcia Association affiliate in Tucson, AZ, with head instructor Aaron Botelho. Ruben's brown belt on October 18, 2025, follows purple in February 2023 (~2.7 years), exceeding IBJJF minimums (typically 18 months from purple to brown). Smoothcomp shows white belt competitions in 2019 (e.g., AZBJJF Novice Cup and AZ State Jiu-Jitsu Championship), blue belt achieved 2021 under Joe Solorio, and his 7+ years training since ~2018 align with the history. Gallery photos, confirmed instructors, and academy affiliation support legitimacy."
"Lots of high quality photo evidence. Legit!"
"Legit. I have met Ruben and know his coaches. "
"Confirmed by his coach, and I know Sonoran is nothing but legit. Congrats on your brown belt!"
"Congrats"
"I don't know Ruben, but there seems to be enough evidence to verify rank. :)"
