"good to go congrats on the purple"
"Ryan’s progression is consistent with IBJJF minimums and training norms. He began training in July 2021 at Outliers Jiu-Jitsu under Jeremy Barden (3rd-degree black belt), later receiving his blue belt on July 5, 2023, from black belts Sean Conley and Eliyah Barden. This 24-month white belt period aligns with standard practices. His promotion to purple belt on January 13, 2026, by Marco Hernandez at Montaña Fighting Systems meets the strict 2-year blue belt minimum. Competition records from Smoothcomp verify his active participation at the reported time in belt here in San Diego and Texas. Legit purple!"
