JPlease add if you have better sources on the BB promotions (who promoted and when) of Rafael, Totinho and Tom. Luis Carlos Mateus is easy to confirm, as he's on Carlson's list of BB:s, so only need to confirm everyone after him.
JEarliest. Which then would mean he shouldn't promote Rafael to BB until earliest 2030. And Rafael then shouldn't promote anyone to BB until 2036 earliest. I have done what I can to find good lineage evidence here.
JDo you have a good source (not himself) on when Tom Almeida got promoted to BB in BJJ? I only find info on him being a brown belt still in 2018, so if true, Totinho (who I basically find no sources on) couldn't have gotten a BB from Tom until 2024.

DKSorry , I just seen this. Professor that gave me my black belt is Rafael Lima Miranda. We were both teaching in my gym in Shenyang China. (Lived there and taught grappling and Muay Thai for 9 years. The last five years we hired Jiu jitsu coach to teach the gi class (I had grappled no-gi in tristar mtl under Firas Zahabi for 10 years before I went to China.) over the 5 years I trained gi every day with Fabio Andrade and Rafael Lima Miranda they eventually sent me a diploma after the pandemic when we were both back to our countries that was signed by Tothinio Lima.

DKHey johan, I finally got some info for you. My coach , Rafael Miranda Lima got his belt from tothinio Lima, who got his belt from Tom Almeida, who got his belt from Manimal, who got his belt from Carlson Gracie. I’ll add some pictures. Not sure what you are trying to do, but you are invited to my gym in Saint-Come, Quebec and find out.

DKAlso, beltchecker founder Christian Grogart Came and visited my gym (see pic in gallery , he came to my class, we rolled, had fun he also taught a class later in the week. Love the guy and his family . He is a lot better than me, but I’m sure he could vouch for me. Again, not sure why you do this and where you find the time to go and challenge strangers belts, but hopefully these informations satisfy you.

JAlmeida was only a brown belt when the Q&A on this page was last updated https://www.ufc.com/athlete/thomas-almeida?language_content_entity=en . So there's no way Tothinio Lima and Rafael Miranda are both legit 2:nd degree+ black belts, given the short time frame since then.
