I started my jiu jitsu journey in 2012 at Dark Horse BJJ in Longmont, CO, under Professor Andrew Dudderar and Professor Matt Jubera. I received my blue belt in December 2014. I moved to New Jersey for a while and trained at Unity School of Jiu Jitsu in NYC for 2 months under Professor Murilo Santana. Due to life circumstances, I stopped training BJJ consistently when I moved back to Colorado. I had a couple of false starts (or restarts) over the years but finally returned to regular training in the summer of 2021 at RAD Muay Thai and BJJ in Aurora, CO, under Professor Radcliff Durousseau (black belt under Professor Henry Matamoros). I earned my second stripe in March 2022 and competed for the very first time in June 2022. It's good to be back training!
