BThank you for this. I debated adding it since I earned my blue at one school, and my purple and brown under different instructors at another after my coach left. In the end, I decided to list the coach who awarded me my latest belt.
JWould recommend adding lineage in the designated field.

"Legit profile congrats on the brown"
"vouched for by a black belt that I know and trust, lots of evidence"
"As of my Jan-2026 review, Brian's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu progression aligns with IBJJF minimums, with over a year at white belt before his 2016 blue promotion by sixth-degree black belt Juliano Prado at Total MMA Studios in Tustin, more than six years at blue prior to his 2022 purple by black belts Brady Fink and Philipp Florin, and over two years at purple leading to his 2025 brown by black belt Philipp Florin at Carlson Gracie Westminster. A 2022 Facebook post confirms seven years of training since 2015, and Smoothcomp records verify his purple belt status from December 2022 under those promoters."
"Lots of photos. Legit!"
"I don't know Brian, but there seems to be enough evidence to verify rank. :)"
"Promotion pics in profile! Congrats on receiving your Brown belt!"
