Hey everyone so this is my jiu-jitsu adventure so far. I started training in 2017 in Team Balance Dublin and was hooked straight away but wasn't in a position to train regularly. I trained for around the equivalent of 6 months over a few years at Team Balance and had some drop in classes at Summit Jiujistu Sandyford and Hussar Berserkers Clane to feed the craving. In 2022 though I was finally in a position to train regularly in a local club Anonymous Brazilian Jiu-jitsu in Edenderry Offaly, it's a new club and the head Coach is a four stripe purple Belt the club is affiliated with Enigma Jiu-jitsu Dublin where my coach trains full-time under 4th degree Black Belt Leonardo Kobbaz D'arrigo who was given his black belt by Rocian Gracie JR. I also train there as much as I can. I competed quite a bit as white belt and won 7 fights which won me a few silver medals and one gold medal, I have my smoothcomp account available to view on my profile if anyone wants to see a history of all my competition details. I was Promoted to Blue Belt in December 2023 by Black Belt Philip Doyle who was awarded his Black Belt by 4th degree Black Belt Leonardo Kobbaz D'arrigo. I have been given all of my stripes by Phillip and I got the first one on my blue Belt this June 2024.
