Started in late 2007 with Josh Russell (Gracie Barra Calgary). Moved to Edson Alberta in 2008 and trained under Arashi Do Edmonton with Troy Sorensen and Sylvio Behring. Moved to Maple Ridge BC in 2011 and trained under Carlson Gracie BJJ/Soares BJJ with Jon Curtis and Marcus Soares. Since COVID lockdown 2020, been mainly training at my private studio with independent training partners - Paul McKinley (10+ year, ranked blue), and Alex Arseneau (15+ year, ranked brown). Still hold the rank of purple, haven't been graded since 2015 or so.
