Grateful to be able to train again after a little over 3 years off the mats from a severe neck injury as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Taking it one day at a time.

Amelia’s first stripe. So proud of her and proud to be one of her coaches.
Some of the group shot from Alex’s black belt promotion ceremony 🤙🏻.
Belt promotion day at Inverted Gear Academy
My youngest joined the fun today with her older sister. Being able to help coach them is such a privilege, I love that they both chose to give jiu jitsu a chance.

Promoted bySome might say it’s just a piece of tape but it’s more than that, it’s an honor to get it from them, I never thought I’d be able to train again at certain points when I was recovering from my injury. I was surprised by it, and it means a lot.
