/ Ricardo Da Silva / Keith McKenzie / Martin Hollis (Mark Ganaden)

Hi, I’m Patxi Hastoy, originally from the stunning Basque region of Bayonne, France, now residing in the UK. My family and I are passionate about martial arts, especially Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). I train in Cobham with Mark Ganaden, where we also teach stand-up Judo, and we’re part of Checkmat Surrey in Reigate under Martin Hollis. A standout moment for us is when Ricardo Vieira, co-founder of Checkmat, regularly visits Reigate. We’re lucky to have our belt promotions alongside Mark, Martin, and sometimes even Ricardo himself.
