"Pics together with evidence are together good evidence for me and easy to verify lineage (e.g. https://www.bjjheroes.com/bjj-fighters/gustavo-machado). Always makes me glad to see others who have stayed with the same instructor from white to black!"

"Gustavo Machado BJJ Rocky Mount website confirms Eric as 3rd-degree black belt with over 30 years experience. BJJ Heroes website states promoter Gustavo Machado received black belt in 2000, appearing to have been at least a 4th-degree black belt at the time of the 2012 black belt promotion. Gustavo Machado BJJ Rocky Mount Instagram post from January 2020 describes Eric as 2nd-degree, preceding claimed 2022 3rd-degree. Legit!"
"I started my Jiu Jitsu path under this man!"
"Can confirm! "
