Middle aged slightly broken human who enjoys teaching others the gentle art of consensual violence. Started training around 2000 at Rick Youngs black belt academy in Edinburgh doing BJJ and Muay Thai. Moved to Edinburgh vale tudo around 2004 before competing in MMA (Caledonian warriors 2005) where I won via armbar and received most honourable fighter award. Competed in submission wrestling in Glasgow, never winning lol, but had a lot of fun. Moved area in 2005 and started a submission wrestling club, who's members included the local judo black and brown belts. Realized I was a better coach than competitor. Due to life I had to move for work so the club was left in the hands of the judo guys. Had a wee break to get my life in order and in 2022 I moved to the remote isle of Skye where I now run a club doing BJJ, no gi and MMA with around 10-15 active students.
