My story is like that of many other people. I started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu after trying numerous disciplines such as Muay Thai, Boxing, Judo, Hapkido or Krav Maga but I was never completely comfortable. One day a friend suggested me to try fighting on the ground and that there was a place to do it. After my first class I couldn't believe that everyone had walked all over me and at the same time it was frustrating to think that with my light weight I could do anything. However, I came back one day and another day, the rest is history. At that time I had to stop several times for work, studies and money, but I always found some time to go to an open mat or a single class. At one point I had an injury that took me off the tatami for a while. For these reasons although I started in 2017, it was not until much later that I received my blue belt, having by then passed through several provinces in Spain and countries in the world due to my work. I finally settled in Granada (Spain) and although for a while I did not find my place, I was lucky enough to link up with my professor (Juan Pedro Campos from 7 Islands BJJ). Since then I have continued training all over the world and my goal is none other than to enjoy the noble art wherever I go. I try to compete when I can, I do not leave without visiting any open mat and I will be happy to visit you if you invite me.
