Day I received my brown belt. So happy to share the moment with my daughter. Happy for her to see the effort I put in for testing.

My first Dragan Seminar at our Dojo. The guy lives and breathes BJJ. Blew my mind. Simple and effective thinking.

Best move I ever made. I found my Jiu Jitsu home and a knowledgeable Sensei who not only is a mutiple black belt holder with one multiple degrees in an offshoot of classic Jujitsu but a black belt in BJJ under Dragan Konjevic(3rd degree). Dragon was awarded his black belt by Romero Calvacanti Jacare. Durring this period I continue to train consistently 3-5 days a week and have been teaching for nearly a year both an adult and childrens class. When I first arrived Stripes were not a thing from.purple up until recently re-introduced. Belt promotions are not handed out but based on skill, attendance, knowledge, and a physical demonstration of skills involving ground grappling, standup, self defense and protection with live sparring and scenarios.

Durring this time I had felt I needed to move to a new training facility as I felt I was not very happy with the current training I followed 2 Brown belts to a new gym they opened Called Foerter BJJ they were a new Gringo Affilliate under Fernando Zulick (4th degree). Durring this time i would compete at the gringo annual and podium and eventually we all.decided to merge back with progression under A reconciliation with James Frank Owner Operator of Progression. With James permission I was handed my purple belt from Christian Foerter( Current Black belt). Durring this time I would earn multiple stripes on my purple before my eventual departure to similar circumstances as before.

I was handed my blue belt at the Jiujitsu for life annual tournament were I had a podium finish. At this time it was a hand over from Malcolm to James as Malcolm had decided to move to Toronto to be with his now wife. James was the owner operator of Progression BJJ an Affiliate of the jujitsu for life team under Jorge Britto. Under James I would earn multiple stripes on my blue.

Started in 2016 when I joined Adrenaline MMA. First instructor was Rowan Cunningham. I was inconsistent for a few years as I became one of Adrenaline's Sport Conditioning Coaches, and the Main S&C coach to Malcolm X Gordon and Chris Horodecki. In 2019 I became more serious in my training and my tutelage was under Malcolm X Gordon Canada's top Flyweight and TKO Champion at the time and a black belt under Jorge Britto. With Malcolm I trained and competed twice that year earning a gold at the London Open and a Bronze at the Jiu-Jitsu for life team annual. it was durring this time I earned my stripes and eventual promotion. Please note I have prior Wrestling experiance from my formative educational years.
