CDI have personally known Professor Manny since 2013, I can fully vouch for his rank. He has also owned and operated his own academy for roughly 6-7 years.

Promoted byRodrigo ResendeThis was my last promotion. I opened my Academy in February of 2019. It was a hard time. Not only did I have to deal with the pandemic but I was kicked off my team and fell out with Professor Rodrigo Resende. I have not had a solid instructor since.

"Perfectly Legit profile "
"Manuel’s progression aligns with time-in-belt norms overall. A competitor list for the 2015 Alberta Provincial Jiu Jitsu Championship shows Manuel Aragon entered the Brown & Black Belt division under Rodrigo Resende BJJ Academy, consistent with being black belt by 2013. Rodrigo Resende’s current coach bio at Vanguard Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Judo lists him as 5th-degree, implying he was ≥2nd-degree by 2013 (sufficient to award a black belt). Legit!"
"Well supported, lots of evidence."
