"As of my 18-Jan-2026 review, there was very little evidence posted here, just a picture of a black belt diploma. Much more as of Mar-2026. External evidence from AGF and Smoothcomp databases claimed corroborates belt levels: blue in 2018, purple in 2019, black in 2023 competitions. Gracie Barra West County’s website lists David as a black belt instructor. David’s progression aligns with time-in-belt norms, spanning about 8 years from blue to black. Mike Buckels appears to have been a 4th-degree as of December 18, 2022 according to the academy web site at that time. Legit!"
DDI just figured out how to leave these comments. Thanks for voting and for your effort in researching me!

"I don’t know David, but there seems to be enough evidence to verify rank. :)"
